Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) She is an English artist and singer. The infectious electronic music of Ellie Goulding rapidly pushed her into the top charts once she drew the attention of the public in 2010. She was able to achieve this feat with her singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano scream and a knack of writing songs with emotional positive lyrics. Much like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's at the forefront of modern mainstream pop and arty independent music. The final decision was to sign a major label agreement to Polydor Records and began making preparations for her debut album.
